6.0 quake jolts Bay Area; largest to hit area since 1989

A long, rolling earthquake shook a wide swath of the Bay Area early Sunday, prompting Gov. Brown to declare a state of emergency. The temblor damaged buildings, cut off power to thousands, sparked at least one fire, and sent at least 89 to a hospital.   #LosAngelesTimes
