Shake up a Twitter

In yet another high level shakeup at Twitter, two more executives are reportedly leaving the company.

Jeremy Gordon, Twitter’s VP of engineering and Adam Kinney, who heads up analytics, are stepping down from Twitter’s engineering team, the two announced Wednesday.

Gordon, who came to Twitter in 2012 after the company acquired his startup, was promoted to VP of engineering earlier this year. He announced his resignation on Twitter, thanking CEO Dick Costolo, but did not provide a reason for his departure.
Adam Kinney, who had been with company since 2010, headed up the company’s analytics efforts, which have expanded in recent weeks.
Though neither manager elaborated on a reason for leaving, CNBC reported that “some engineers at Twitter are concerned that the company’s product vision is not clear enough.”

Their departures are the latest in a series of high profile resignations this year that included former COO Ali Rowghani, head of global media Chloe Sladden, VP of product Michael Sippey and head of news Vivian Schiller, among others.

Though Twitter beat estimates for Q3 earnings, concerns about user growth have persisted.

Anthony Burgess was 40 when he learned that he had only one year to live. He had a brain tumor that would kill him within a year. He know he had a battle on his hands. He was completely broke at the time, and he didn’t have anything to leave behind for his wife, Lynne, soon to be a window.

Burgess had never been a professional novelist in the past, but he always knew the potential was inside him to be a writer. So, for the sole purpose of leaving royalties behind for his wife, he put a piece of paper into a typewriter and began writing. He had no certainty that he would even be published, but he couldn’t think of anything else to do.

“It was January of 1960,” he said, “and according to the prognosis, I had a winter and spring and…

Start a second blog ????????

First of the year I will customize my blog site. More like a website. I’m still trying to figure out what this blog is putting out there. Most important is I put a whole lot of breaking news info. Whether it’s politics, entertainment, tech, culture, medical, and some personal. In the beginning I posted a good number of personal info, truly what was going on in my life. I was extremely honest and candid. The personal got a whole lot attention when it went over to Facebook page, some good some bad. It bother some friends and some didn’t comment at all. I spoke about all my challenges and difficulties.

But the other topics did good also. People seem to be interested from all over the world, and I mean all. Russia, African Countries, Middle East, Europe, few to name a few.

So do I start a personal blog and make the other about what’s going on in the world, etc, etc ? I think I probably will make the personal blog be titled Survival which is the title now. And work on a new blog for all the other interests I have. What do you all think? Do you think that’s a smart idea? Any ideas for a name ? This will be all up and running by the 1st of the year.

Wait it out…..!

Glad I made that decision……!

Well I almost made very quick decision. I was thinking about moving out of my apartment and go stay with friends one month at a time. I thought I would put everything in storage make my friends home in Palm Springs my base and go stay with friends month after month after month after month. And hope the I get That Call. The problem with that is that my sense of foundation is compromised. What I mean by foundation is being grounded.

It’s so important for me to feel a sense of having a place to lay my head. I don’t think I would be able to slept Lucas and myself all over the country. I’m not in my 30’s or 40’s, it’s just not possible.

So my new plan is to stay in my apartment and ride out this financial storm and wait for that call to come, hopefully soon…

Just thought I’d thow out again…..

When times are good, you have everyone around you. When times are tough, most run. Why? I’ve watched the friends, acquaintances, Facebook friends and acquaintances, old and new friends, friends from as far back as grammar school how they dealt with my postings about my life. I haven’t posted anything about my life in about four or five weeks. I feel it’s out there and I’m just dealing with it the best I can. But some of these people ran when I talked about the my difficulties and that’s okay and the ones you wouldn’t think came through. And of course there are a few good friends that did not run.
But the funniest thing just happened, I ran into my realtors from Florida. Now, I see them often on Facebook, but lately they haven’t been commenting or liking any of my posts and I them, where as they always…
