What a great day. Spent it with Glenn’s family in Anaheim Hills, California. So much food, laughter, and good people. I felt so comfortable and at ease with them. Kinda like my family but they drink and lots of animals around. Again it was a great time.

I remember when I was young we spent it at my Uncle Ross and Aunt Anna’s house in Florham Park, New Jersey. The whole family usually until things changed. It was great, my cousins and I had such great times. And on Friday my mother, brother and I would go back up for the leftovers. I loved spending time with my cousin Kathy, we were about 1 year apart. Going to their house was like going to the country because we lived in Newark, New Jersey. It wasn’t really that far but it seemed like it was as a kid. Whether it snowed or rained we went. My aunt and uncle were always kind to our family, I think my uncle favored my mother to his other sister. They had a little putting green and we would play on it sometimes or just hang in downstairs room. And the leftovers were always better the next day. If your reading this say a prayer for my aunt she’s not doing to good. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

Things always change as time goes by. We started having the holiday at our home, my mother, her sister, the sister-in-laws , and my grandmother would cook. Always the great food, wine, and laughter, and some disagreements πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰. Always. But they were great. We would mix Italian and American food together to have so much food it was ridiculous. But friends would come by. My favorite were Seymour and Shirley Moskowitz. They were a blast with a bottle of scotch. We laughed so much. Boy those were some days.

But again things change, but it’s all good, I now have this great west coast family. The Kelliher’s. And it’s just as much fun…… I enjoy them all especially Glenn’s mom and grandmother. His brothers are a hoot. And of course Glen Ford. There’s a whole host of friends and other family members. Spending the holidays with them is so special, they make me feel special……. Thank you Glen Austin Kelliher.
